fangirling and black outs

i was doing my daily dose of kpopdicine and doing my rounds on FB when my sister (who got home from her call center job) turned on the tv to watch her fave show, abs-cbn's "its showtime" . The announcement just caught my attention:FT Island LIVE My sister just asked me..."what's FT island again?" and all i could muster? shrieking  FAN-GIRL screams...ROFLMAO...well, that's what my sister told me...hehehehe...she even threatened to turn off the tv if i didn't stop (hai naku...my "old" younger sister talaga...but if it was 2ne1..she'd be screaming with me..LOL)....anyhow, the hosts also stated that FT island will be having a concert at the PICC Plenary Hall tomorrow and that "You're Beautiful" will be aired soon on ABS-CBN.. HURRAY!!!CONGRATULATIONS!!!...(note to myself: will be preparing for the other A.N.JELL guys too...who knows they will come soon as well!)  

i was all hyped and ready for them to do a song when to our darnest luck, a BLACK-OUT!!! thank you el nino...geeeeez...i have to wait 2 hours and watch it on youtube.

Oh well, we can't prevent blackouts especially with the events happening across the world...recent earthquake in chile, landslide in uganda and peru (or was it portugal?), tsunami in spain (2 dead in a cruise ship docked at barcelona) ...and there's EL Nino which has really affected Pinas this year...rotating black-outs everywhere in the country.

remembering the 23rd

my birthday falls on this month...and sadly , i'm getting old!!BAH! A friend of mine just shared a little sentiment that "in 6 years time, we'll all be 30"...hahahaha...oh well, wala na tayong magagawa dun (we can't do anything about it!)...so its either you accept the fact or choose not to get bothered by age...but why do i get an eerie feeling like somebody is doing a countdown on me...tick tock tick tock...10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 SPUDOW (hehehehe just remembered the potato mine in plants vs. zombies)...ahhhhh wateber!!! bahala na si batman!!!

anyhow...i was wondering what i'd do on my birthday this year...as usual i want something out of the ordinary...let say MEMORABLE..kekekeke...

last year, i was working on my birthday (you gotta do what you gotta do right?). I was tutoring english to a funny little 11 year-old girl, bought a white mouse(named it mickey yoochun) for her as a parting gift (days after she went home to her country). . .and then celebrated it days after with fellow volunteers (proud to be a nurse volunteer for special children!!kekeke) whose birthdays falls on January. Its still somewhat special cuz it was the first time i had a big birthday party together with other people . . .a lot of food (yummy lasagna!!), people everywhere,endless conversations, and giggles here and there!!*sigh* i can't remember though how it ended

then two years ago, i had a blasting birthday trip...together with my college buddy Dyll (whose birthday falls next to mine). We celebrated Sinulog in Cebu and ate the chocolate hills in Bohol...just kidding...and met the high-on-caffeine-looking tarsier.
